The land of Israel, Palestine, and Jerusalem, where the blessings for all nations began with Abraham, is filled with both blessings and curses. Today, it remains a place of grief and sorrow.
Jerusalem, though it appears to be the starting point of many issues, is also where the solution lies. Therefore, we must pray for Israel, Palestine, and Jerusalem with the Word of the Lord in our hearts.
We long not for a Jerusalem filled with sin and desolation but for a glorious Jerusalem filled with the presence of the Lord. We pray to see the fulfillment of the Creator’s plans and prophecies for this land. The Lord is the one who builds Jerusalem and gathers the scattered people of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:2-3). Jerusalem will become a place of worship before the Lord.
In the end times, the Lord will once again choose Jerusalem as His possession in the holy land, and Judah will be His people. Jerusalem will awaken and be the land that welcomes the Lord, crying out, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” Israel and Palestine will become the land that prepares the way for the coming of the Lord.
Our Lord is the One who fulfills His covenant promises. Through the prayers and petitions of the global church, the blood and love of Jesus will break down every barrier of conflict and spiritual darkness in this land. As the Church wields the authority of the keys of the kingdom, praying for this land and its people, we believe that all chains will be broken and freedom will be released. The souls in this land, currently in the midst of war, will experience the time of salvation.
Israel and Palestine will rise together as God’s disciples and His army, preparing the way for the coming of the Lord.
